Breaking Free Bible Study Mondays July 27-Aug 31 from 6:30 to 8:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. We have enough space for 18 participants. Please contact the church office to register. No books needed, just bring your bible.

A Message to the people of Bethany UM Church in Latrobe: As our nation and other nations respond to the recent news that the Covid-19 virus continues to spread at an alarming rate, I would like to share a few thoughts with you. Please pray for our world, and specifically for those who have been infected with this virus, as well as for the many who are impacted, directly or non-directly. Please check on those who are sick. are at extra risk, or those who may be lonely or isolated at this time. Please consider carefully weather a visit is appropriate or would it be better for a call or to send a card.

Abundant Health Team Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Everyday preventative measures can be used to help protect yourself and others:
o Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
o Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, especially with unwashed hands.
o Avoid touching high-touch surfaces in public places (elevator buttons, door
handles, handrails). Use a tissue or your sleeve to cover your hand or finger if you must touch something and wash your hands after.
o Stay home when you are sick and for 24 hours after you no longer have a
o Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow
when you cough or sneeze.
o Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily, including tables,
o Get your flu vaccine to prevent influenza, another prevalent respiratory virus circulating this time of year.
At this time we are still planning to worship together on Saturday 6:30pm, Sundays 8:15 and 10:30 am, Until our Bishop, CDC or other authorities tell us otherwise, or we deem it unsafe to do so.
